The Solheim Cup breaks viewing records & Team Europe come out on top!
Suzann Pettersen’s European side created history by taking home the trophy for the third straight time after an epic finish on the Costa del Sol. Two great teams comprised of some of the worlds best female golfers contested a fantastic tournament at Spains Finca Cortesin Golf Resort.
The viewing figures also make this year’s Solheim Cup the fourth highest women’s sports event at its peak ever watched on Sky Sports! A peak audience of 734,000 tuned into the action during the singles matches, which is the highest ever recorded.
